Preheat your oven according to instructions on the packet for the part-baked baguette!
Slice the baguette diagonally into not-too-thin but not-too-thick pieces and place on a tray lined with baking/parchment paper!
Cook in the oven for 2-3 minutes and then take it out of the oven! This is done so that the baguette doesn't go soggy when the butter is spread onto it!
Soften the butter in the microwave, making sure not to melt it but getting it to a state in which it can be mixed!
Finely chop the parsley and add it with the garlic into the butter, mix well so both the parsley and garlic are incorporated all throughout!
Spread the garlic-butter mix onto the baguette, and sprinkle cheese over the top if using it!
Put the baguette back in the oven to cook for the remaining time indicated on the packet! (The time minus the 2-3 minutes already spent cooking!)
